Concealed Carry Weapon Certification & Renewal Training
Paratus Training is honored to be at the top of the recommended approved vendors list of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
We host the initial required 16hr Concealed Carry Weapon Certification as well as the required 8hr Concealed Carry Weapon Renewal Certification.
We offer a unique approach to the certification process that prioritizes range time and weapon handling. We are an approved vendor offering this exclusively as a private, one on one Concealed Carry Weapon Certification and Renewal training experience in addition to the small group class we offer.
It is a highly-sought after group course accommodates a limited number participants per course, otherwise you can opt to schedule a private certification class or wait until the next group class becomes available.
Our next 2-day initial certification group classes are on May 17-18th and June 7-8th. Please see our options/pricing in the drop down menu below.

Be advised that you should first get approval from the Sheriff’s Department/local police department by submitting your initial application and doing a LiveScan(background check) before scheduling your training in case you are denied a license. However, you can streamline the process by acquiring your training certificate if you feel confident that you will not be denied. Please contact here us for more information or if you have questions.
