Paratus Training offers professional firearms instruction to the Santa Barbara County area.
We provide the most modern firearms training to all skill levels in a friendly manner with absolute adherence to safety.
Our classes are built upon firearm safety, technique, manipulation, mindset and shooting performance for all skill levels from the beginner, through advanced shooters.
Our curriculums cover most weapons platforms and span from introductory to the most advanced techniques and methods. We utilize a modified version of Col. Jeff Coopers' Combat Triad as our primary methodology.
This triad focuses on:
Mindset: why and when we do what we do.
Marksmanship: the Seven Fundamentals of Shooting.
Manipulations: all actions performed with a weapon, including loading, presenting, clearing, malfunctions, and more.
